Phillip, I know
I have said it many times before, but I do not mind repeating the truth over and
over again……“You are appreciated by me”, not only for what you do, but for who
you are. (A very concerned, caring and positive Man)
When we
first met you gave my spirit a lift and it is still soaring. You showed such
compassion towards me as an artist as well as an individual. Phillip, you have
helped myself and so many artists in reaching their fullest potential and I feel
as though what you have given is immense and it can never be measured.
You are
always giving from your heart and I commend you for that as well. So many
artist have not only gained recognition from JPC, but also by you playing their
tracks in rotation as well as you hosting events in which poets and musicians
have a platform in which they can perform for monetary gain.
You indeed are a
blessing to many. ….So many forget to thank those who have helped along their
journey once they have reached their peak in life, but today I am saying “thank
you” for all that you have done for ALL artist, writers, poets, singers, and
musicians. Phillip, as you have blessed others, your blessings will be immense.

Wow where to begin... First of let me say this, thank you for having such a
show where the structure is about poetry. When I first started to listen
to the show I was like aight he got some dope poets on there. And I just
sat there in aw of these poets. I was thinking to myself damn that's
dope, and was like you hear this and that. I had a few friends over so
we can hear the show together. And then it happened, my piece came on.
I haven't told anyone yet that I was going to be on the show I want to see
their faces, all of them come to my venue as a regular and spit too, anyways
as I was saying then my piece came on and everyone was like yo I heard this
before, and they looked at me and they where like yo, Mannie that's your joint
on the streamer. I was in amazement and couldn't really function.
You know like a kid that for the first time heard himself on the radio.
Man it was just dope, my friends where like yo, Mannie why you ain't tell us.
And I was like cause I wanted to see y'all reaction.
Thanks Phillip for giving me that opportunity, many blessings to you and
I look forward of hearing the next show.

...I was just listening and I
thought, "A conversation with u must be like trying something new on the
menu, and liking it!" To say the least, I'm intrigued. Writing to extend to
u an invitation into my world and hopefully receive one (Hope my page
doesn't alarm u too much. One thing about me is that I have many dimentions:)
However, some minds don't mingle well, and that's cool too. Either way, stay
righteous brotha...

Congratulations on helping organize the CFC Talent Showcase. The show went
very, very well.
It's good to see someone who cares so much about people with artistic
endeavors that he is willing to put things in action. Keep up the great

GTM3 was a shock for me...a refreshing shock that is...I hadn't been out in
a while and to see so many new faces to the scene was wonderful...to hear
positive poetry was also overwhelming because i left the scene due to poets
attaching each other in prose and i was turned off by it...but to attend one
of your events, and a packed house at that..was so wonderful! Mark Marcel is
still on his game and the new faces are astounding. the poetry says
something real. I had a great time and was overjoyed that it was so close to
my home. I couldn't stay long because cece was home alone and we had just
moved, so i had to scoot out early. But Phil GTM3 was a fabulous,
comforting, poetical event!

Again, thank you! Last
night was incredible! I met a childhood star (and her Mom); I sold out of
CDs; I performed in front of the maturest crowd I've spit to before, and
they liked me (lol); and my father (he's a character, but real business
minded) and my boys got to see me on stage after a while of being on the
road. Bruh, you put together another hot event! I was nervous about the
crowd sticking around for a poet that they never heard of before .. but I
thank you for allowing me to bring poetry back into some of their lives. I
hope your responce and feedback was just and good, or better than the one I
am sending you. Peace
